Sew It! Workshop is the fresh, new sewing studio that brings the stitching to you!  The workshop is designed to meet YOUR needs.
Workshops can take place at your place or mine.
Workshops are scheduled at your convenience. 
Workshops can be for a single student, two students or a group of 3 to 8 students.
Workshop content is designed to meet your needs.

I am a sewing educator and in my private lessons, I'll guide you or your group through the process of creating with the original 'power tool', the sewing Machine!

I bring everything you or your group will need with me.  Sewing machines, fabric, scissors, thread, notions, and all other items for the lesson or lesson series.

The workshop can take place in your home, a local community center, or just about anyplace that has space, tables, chairs and electricity.  And, if you prefer, the workshop can be held at my studios in South Orange, Newark or West Orange.

I have two types of workshops ~ Single Workshops or 4-Session Workshop Series. 
The single workshops are either for learning to use the sewing machine; OR making an individual project.  The single workshops are perfect for birthday parties, community groups, Girl or Cub Scouts, Girl's Night Out, Sororities and Fraternities, Book Clubs, and more.  Examples of the type of projects you can stitch can be found here.  All fabric and notions to complete the projects are included in the workshop.  You or your group can just bring smiles!

4-Session Workshop Series are perfect for the individual, duet or group that would like to learn to sew OR would like to advance their skills and stitch specific items. The Workshop Series are great for Home Schoolers, singles, or any group that would like to learn to sew together.  In the Learn to Sew series, over the course of 4 weekly sessions, I will teach you to confidently use a sewing machine through the process of making cool, useful projects such as wallets, crafting aprons, tote bags, and simple garments. Examples of these projects are shown here.  I also offer series for dressmaking; accessories; and stretchy fabrics (think leggings, sweaters, comfy joggers and stuff like that). Two or more projects will be completed in these series.  All fabric and notions are included in the workshop. All 4-session series include an optional fabric shopping trip!
